Astro Hunter 3D Deluxe is a shareware arcade game for Windows. The aim of this game is to throw nuclear weapons to as many asteroids as possible (and any other flying object that may appear on scene), and try to destroy them completely, or at least divide them into smaller pieces. At the same time, we must stay alert and try not to be hit by any of the flying rocks/objects. They can be of any size, shape, and color, and appear from anywhere in the screen. As we play along, we will notice that there are more and more asteroids/objects appearing. If the enemy reaches us, our spaceship will be moved a little, or a lot. We can play with our mouse, joystick, or keyboard. We can choose the level of difficulty (5 available). We can also select to play the game in full screen, enable/disable the sound effects, choose the background (black, fixed picture, rotating picture, vertical scroll, horizontal scroll, and starfield), select the speed of our weapons and those of the enemy, advanced options, cheat, and controls, change users account, etc. We can view the high scores table whenever we decide to quit or pause the game, or once the game is over. We can try the evaluation version free of charge. This program runs under Windows Vista, and XP OS. |
